Chitlam Podi or Endu Chintha Chiguru podi (Dry Tamarind leaves Podi)
Ingredients
- Dry Tamarind Leaves(Endu Chiguru) - 1 1/2 glass
- Nuvulu (Til) - Half Glass
- Salt
- Dry Red Chillies - as per taste
- Garlic - 2 whole
- Ground Nuts -2 glasses
- Horse Gram powder or Ulava Podi - 1/4 glass
Procedure
- Heat a Kadai dry roast Groundnuts , keep it aside
- Dry roast Tamarind leaves for 2 mins transfer into a bowl
- Dry roast Nuvulu and Horse Gram separately
- Add a tea spoon of oil in a kadai and roast red chillies
- In a Blender add roasted horse gram and blend it to smooth powder and transfer it to a bowl
- In a blender add Nuvulu, Ground nuts blend to coarse powder , transfer it to horse gram powder bowl
- Now Blend Red chillies salt ,tamarind leaves and garlic to a powder ,add everything to previous ground powder .Mix well and blend again
- Store it in Air tight conntainer
