Ingredients
- Rice 1 cup (water 2 cups)
- Clove 1
- Green chilly 2
- bay leaf 1
- Cinnamon 1/2 inch
- Cashew 6
- Shah jeera 1/2 tsp
- Onion 1 small
- Star Anise 1
- Ghee 1tbsp
- Butter 1 tbsp
Procedure
- Wash and Soak rice for 30 mins and cook
- In a Kadai,heat 1 tbsp ghee and butter,add bay leaf,clove,cinnamon,star anise and cashew.Saute them
- Now add slit green chilly ,sliced onion and Cook till onions turn into brown color
- Add cooked rice and salt, mix well and cook for 3 mins
- Serve hot with potato kurma or any other curry
