Ghee Rice


Ingredients

  • Rice 1 cup (water 2 cups)
  • Clove 1
  • Green chilly 2
  • bay leaf 1
  • Cinnamon 1/2 inch
  • Cashew 6
  • Shah jeera 1/2 tsp
  • Onion 1 small
  • Star Anise 1
  • Ghee 1tbsp
  • Butter 1 tbsp

Procedure

  • Wash and Soak rice for 30 mins and cook
  • In a Kadai,heat 1 tbsp ghee and butter,add bay leaf,clove,cinnamon,star anise and cashew.Saute them
  • Now add slit green chilly ,sliced onion and Cook till onions turn into brown color
  • Add cooked rice and salt, mix well and cook for 3 mins
  • Serve hot with potato kurma or any other curry
