Ingredients
- Coriander 1 big bunch
- Coriander seeds 1 tbsp
- Salt
- Turmeric
- Jeera 1 tsp
- Clove 2
- Cinnamon stick 1/4 th inch
- Green chilles
- Curry leaves
- Bread (optional)
- Rice 1 cup
Procedure
- Soak rice for 30 mins(For 1 glass of rice 2 cups of water)
- In a blender add Coriander seeds , fresh coriander, clove,Cinnamon stick,Green chillies and blend to smooth paste
- Add 2 tbsp oil in a cooker,once hot add Jeera ,Curry leaves .Now add masala paste ,turmeric ,salt and cook till it looses raw smell or for 5 mins.
- Add Soaked rice with water and close the lid.
- Cook for 3 Whistles.Switch off the flame
- Cut bread into small cubes and deep fry in oil.Add these fried bread on top of cooked coriander rice
- Serve coriander rice with raita
