Dosa

Ingredients

  • Rice 5 glasses
  • Minapappu or Black gram  1.5 glass
  • Menthulu or Methi Seeds 1/2 tsp
  • Atukulku or Poha thick 1/2 glass 
  • Salt
  • Eating Soda or Baking Soda

Procedure

  1. Soak Rice, Methi and Minapappu in water for 6 hrs
  2. Soak Poha in water separately 
  3. Remove water from soaked rice and dal and add it into grinder ,add small quantity of water and grind it to smooth paste
  4. Grind Soaked poha also into smooth paste
  5. Mix Poha batter into rice and dal batter.Mix Well
  6. Ferment it for 8 hrs or whole night
  7. Next Morning Batter gets ferment
  8. Take Small Quantity of batter in a bowl , add salt and pinch of baking soda.Mix well
  9. Heat Dosa gridle, take ladlelful of batter pour it on it, spread in circular motion into thin circle
  10. Add oil on it , cook till dosa becomes golden color and fold it into triangle shape or just into half
  11. Serve with Red chutney , Onion Chutney or coconut chutney
