Jonna Rote or Jowar roti



Ingredients

  • Jonna pindi or Jowar flour 1 cup and 1/4th cup for dusting
  • Water 1 Cup
  • salt as per taste
  • Muslin Cloth white
Procedure
  1. Take a Heavy bottomed pan add 1 cup water , let it boil
  2. Once Water starts boiling add Salt and Jonna pindi,Mix well and switch off or when water starts boiling add jonna pindi and salt and leave it for 5 mins.After 5 mins switch off the flame and mix well(By doing like this roti will not break)
  3. Once Cool ,take the dough and knead well , add little bit of water while kneading if required.
  4. Divide the dough into 3 Small balls
  5. Sprinkle some amount of flour on rolling board.Take a ball , flatten it and place it in the flour.Add flour from top and flatten it again by pressing and rotate it. If unable to do with palms use roll pin and flatten it slowly and careful
  6. Take out the roti and put it on hot tawa. Dip Muslin cloth in water ,now soread waer on one side of roti using this wet cloth,wait for a min or so or till water evaporates and flip the roti and cook on other side  
  7. Serve hot with Gongura pappu or any dal or Curry
