Karam Borugulu (Spicy Puffed rice)


Ingredients

Murmura or Puffed rice
Oil
Curry leaves
Ground Nuts
Mustard Seeds
Dry red chilli
Red Chilli powder 
Turmeric
Salt
Roasted Bengal gram split or Putnala Pappu
Hing

Procedure

  1. In a Large Kadai add oil and heat it
  2. Once Hot add Mustard seeds , Ground nuts and fry them
  3. Now add Curry leaves ,Bengal Gram , give a quick mix and add Salt, turmeric and red chilli powder and hing .Mix well
  4. Now add Murmura
  5. Cook on low flame for 5 mins and Stir in intervals
  6. Switch off the flame
  7. Serve with onion
