Ingredients
- Toor dal or kandipappu - 1 cup
- Onions 3 medium sized
- Red Chilli -2
- Tamarind pulp
- Salt
- Garlic cloves 10
- Curry leaves
- Mustard seeds , Jeera
- Red Chilli powder
- Hing
- Turmeric
Procedure
1.Cook toor dal, chop onions and keep a side.
2.In a Kadai , add oil and heat it.Once oil is hot add mustard seeds,Jeera,Curry leaves and hing.Mix well , add Onions and Garlic ,cook till onions are soft.
3.Add Tamarind pulp, cooked toor dal,red chilli powder and turmeric,mix well and cook for 5 mins or so
4.Serve hot with rice or chapathi or Billa kudumulu
