Ingredients
For Powder
- Red chillies
- Coriander seed - 4 tbsp
- Jeera - 2 tbsp
- Miriyalu - 1 tbsp
- Menthulu - 1/2 tbsp
- Dry coconut
For Rasam
- Toor dal -1/4 cup
- Tamarind pulp - 1 tsp
- Lemon juice
- Salt
- Turmeric
- Curry leaves
- Coriander leaves
- Rasam powder
For seasoning
- Mustard seeds
- Jeera
- Dry red chilli -1
- Curry leaves
- Hing
Procedure
For Rasam Powder
- Dry roast all the ingredients except coconut.
- Let it cool,Grind them to smooth powder , store it in Air tight Container
For Mysore Rasam
- Cook toor dal.
- in a Pan add toor dal,turmeric ,curry leaves, coriander leaves,Salt,Tamarind pulp,Rasam Powder 1 tbsp ,water 2 cups and bring it to boil for 10 mins.
- Once Boiled add lemon juice and switch off
- Add seasoning , Mysore rasam is ready to serve with rice.
