Potato Cutlet

Ingredients

  • Potatoes 3 large
  • Fresh Coriander
  • Carrot 1 grated
  • Pudina or mint leaves
  • Salt
  • Coriander powder 1 tsp
  • Jeera or cumin powder 1 tsp
  • Green chillies chopped
  • Salt
  • Lemon juice 1 tsp
  • Bread crumbs
  • Fresh Peas
  • Ginger 1 inch
  • Onion 1 small chopped
Procedure 

  1. Boil Potatoes and Let it cool
  2. Heat a kadai , add oil ,once oil is hot add ginger , green chillies and onions .Cook till onions are transparent
  3. Now add grated carrot and chopped pudina cook for 2 mins.Add coriander powder,salt,Jeera powder mix well.Switch off the flame
  4. In a bowl grate the potatoes and add the cooked mixture and Chopped coriander ,mix well
  5. Take small balls and flatten them ,cover it with bread crumbs
  6. Heat a griddle , add oil and place the prepared potato cutlets and cook on low flame for 5 mins
  7. Flip the cutlet and cook on other side.Add oil if required
  8. Cook for 5 mins or till it is cooked completely
  9. Serve hot cutlets with ketchup or pudina chutney and sweet chutney
