Layered Paratha with Banana


Ingredients

  • Maida or All pupose Flour 2 cups
  • Wheat flour 1 cup
  • Banana ripe 1
  • Salt
  • Oil 2 tbsps +1 tbsp
  • Rice flour 1 tbsp

Procedure


  1. In a Blender add banana and 2 tbsps oil ,blend to smooth paste
  2. In a cup add rice flour and oil ,mix well it should be liquid consistency.If you need more oil add it and mix
  3. In a Bowl take wheat flour , salt and Banana puree,mix well add water and prepare a dough.
  4. Cover it with damp cloth and let it sit for 30 mins
  5. After 30 mins knead the dough and make balls.
  6. Take a dough ball ,roll it as thin as possible,apply rice flour and oil paste thoroughly and roll it
  7. Apply oil on both sides of rolled dough ,repeat the procedure for all the dough balls.Cover with damp cloth and let it rest for 30 mins
  8. Take one and roll it ,it should be thick.
  9. Now heat a tawa , put paratha on it ,cook both sides till golden color (Apply oil if needed)
