Bread Dosa

Ingredients

Rice - 3 cups
Rice Rava 1 cup
Water 3-5 cups
Salt

Procedure

  1. Wash rice and soak for 4-5 hrs
  2. In a kadai add 3 cups of water and let it boil.Once it is boiled ,add rice rava ,mix well
  3. Cover with lid and let it cook.It takes app 10 mins for rava to get cooked
  4. Add 1 more glass of water and cook for few more mins
  5. Switch if the flame and let it cool completely
  6. In a grinder add soaked rice and grind it to smooth paste
  7. Take out the batter in a bowl , add cooked rice rava and mix well.Make sure no lumps are formed
  8. Ferment for 8 hrs or whole night
  9. After 8 hrs mix the batter well and add salt and baking soda.Mix well
  10. Heat a dosa tawa ,take ladle full of batter ,add in center of tawa and spread it .It should be thick like utappam
  11. Add some oil on top of dosa and cover with lid.Cook on slow flame
  12. Dosa will be as soft as bread.Hence we call it as bread dosa
  13. Serve hot with any chutney or alu curry
