Ingredients
- Potatoes 3
- Nuvulu or sesame seeds 3 spoons
- Cardamom 2
- Cinnamon 1 inch
- Cloves 3
- Red chillies 3
- Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
- Bay leaf 1
- Dry coconut 1 tbsp
- Onion 1
- Coriander leaves
- Salt
- Red chilly powder 1 tsp
- Turmeric 1/2 tsp
- Curd 1 cup
- Tomato large 1
Procedure
- Boil potatoes in pressure cooker and chop them into cubes, keep a side.chop onions into thin slices
- Dry roast Sesame seeds,Clove,Cinnamon,Cardamom,Dry coconut and red chillies. Let it cool
- Blend them to smooth powder.Add 1 chopped tomato and grind it to smooth paste
- Heat 1 1/2 tbsp of oil in a kadai,add bay leaf and sliced onions.Cook till onions are brown in color.Add ginger garlic paste,turmeric ,saute for few mins
- Now add masala paste prepared in step 3.Cook till oil releases
- Add red chilli powder ,salt .Saute for a min
- Now add Curd and cook well.Add potato cubes , cook for 5-6 mins on medium flame
- Garnish with coriander.
- Serve with ghee rice or any veg pulao
