Foxtail Millet Adai


 Ingredients 

  • Foxtail Millet 1 cup
  • Toor dal 1/2 cup
  • Bengal Gram 1/2 cup
  • Urad dal 2 tbsps
  • Sabudana 2 tbsp
  • Red Chillies 6-8 or as per taste
  • Salt
  • Tomato 1 (ripped)
  • Hing
  • Curry leaves few
  • Onion 1 copped(optional)

Procedure

  1. Wash and soak toor dal,foxtail millet,urad dal ,sabudana and bengal gram in water for 3-4 hours
  2. Add them into grinding jar ,add salt ,tomato and hing.
  3. Grind into smooth paste .Now Add chopped curry leaves and chopped onions and mix well.
  4. Heat a dosa tawa,grease little oil.Take a ladle full of batter , pour it on center of tawa,spread it .It should be thicker than dosa.
  5. Cook till brown color.
  6. Serve hot with chutney or any podi

Note: Can add grated carrot or grated cabbage or drumstick leaves
