Rasam or Charu


Ingredients

  • Toor Dal 1/4th cup
  • Salt
  • Turmeric
  • Rasam Powder 1 tbsp
  • Tomato small 1
  • Curry leaves
  • Hing
  • Mustard seeds
  • Jeera
  • Fresh Coiander
  • Tamarind Paste 1 tsp

Procedure

  1. Cook toor dal
  2. Now in Cooked toor dal add Chopped tomato,curry leaves, rasam powder , salt,tamarind paste,turmeric and 2 cups of water
  3. Cook for 10 mins 
  4. Take small kadai for seasoning.Add oil when hot add mustard seeds, jeera and curry leaves.add hing and switch off the flame
  5. Add this seasoning in rasam 
  6. Serve hot with Rice
